Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced bouzouki player, I offer personalised one-on-one online lessons tailored to your level, goals and musical interests.
Learn from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are in Australia or around the world. Lessons are conducted live via Zoom, allowing us to see and hear each other clearly while I demonstrate techniques, songs and exercises in real time.
My lessons focus on practical playing, technique, Greek music and repertoire, with the content adapted to suit each student.

Every lesson is tailored specifically to the individual student. Whether you have never played bouzouki before, are just starting out, or have been playing for years, we will work at your level and focus on what you want to achieve.
Lessons can cover technique, scales, chords, rhythm, Greek music and repertoire, with the content adapted to your experience, musical interests and goals.

What You Need for Your Lesson
You will need your own bouzouki for the lesson. Both 8-string and 6-string bouzoukis are welcome.
Your bouzouki must be tuned in the traditional tuning:
8-string: D, A, F, C
(from the thinnest strings to the thickest)
6-string: D, A, D
Please make sure your bouzouki is tuned correctly before your lesson so that we can make the most of our time together.

Lessons can be adapted to whatever you want to achieve on the bouzouki.
Depending on your level and interests, we can work on:
Proper technique and picking
Scales, chords and arpeggios
Rhythm and timing
Greek music styles and rhythms
Learning songs and building your repertoire
Playing melodies and accompanying songs
Improvisation and developing your own playing style
Understanding music and the bouzouki fretboard
Improving technique, speed, accuracy and confidence
How the Online Lesson Works
How the Online Lesson Works
Your lesson takes place live via Zoom video call, allowing us to see and hear each other throughout the lesson.
Once you book and pay for your lesson, you will receive your booking confirmation by email. A Zoom video link will be sent to you separately before your lesson.
At the scheduled time, simply click the link and join the lesson from your computer, laptop, tablet or phone with your bouzouki ready to play.
During the lesson, I can demonstrate techniques and songs, listen to you play, correct your technique and work with you in real time, just as we would in a face-to-face lesson.
